abstract Method of labeling a synthetic or natural ribonucleic acid (RNA), characterized in that it consists in: - fragmenting the RNA in a non-specific way by chemical means, to generate a plurality of RNA fragments, and - in marking each fragment of said RNA to level of the terminal phosphate that has been released during fragmentation, said terminal phosphate being located at the 3 '' end by fixing on the phosphate at position 2 '', at position 3 '' or at position 2 '' - 3 '' cyclic monophosphate, in relation to ribose, of a reactive function contained by a marker or that can be subsequently associated with a marker.
