titleOfInvention | COMPLEX TIONATE OF PLATINUM (II) OF STEQUIOMETRY (PT (R) (R ') (L) (L')) N WITH ANTITUMORAL ACTIVITY. |
abstract | Tionate complexes of platinum (II) stoichiometry [Pt (R) (R ') (L) (L')] n with antitumor activity and its synthesis procedure. This invention concerns the new platinum (II) complexes containing ligands generically referred to as heterocyclic thionates, hence the generic for the type of compounds "Tionate Platinum Complexes (II)" in addition to water-soluble tertiary phosphines such as donor phosphorus ligands that complete the sphere of coordination of the metal center. These ligands can be in both mutually cis and trans configurations.n n n This invention comprises the method of preparing the cis- and trans-stoichiometry compounds [Pt (R) (R ') (L) (L ')] n, (R) and (R') = heterocyclic thionate, including dithionates, and (L) and (L ') = water-soluble tertiary phosphines, with antitumor properties and any compositions Pharmaceuticals derived from these for use in the treatment of cancer. |
