abstract Specific oligonucleotides for the detection, identification and quantification of Clostridium tyrobutyricum isolates .n n n The oligonucleotides of the present invention have a nucleotide sequence that is specific for a region of the specific fla gene of the Clostridium tyrobutyricum species. Said oligonucleotides act as primers and probe, respectively, against the target sequences of said genes.n n n The detection, identification and quantification of Clostridium tyrobutyricum isolates is carried out by standard PCR technology in any of its known variants, especially through the use of real-time PCR using TaqMan type probes, and characterized in that for the amplification of the fla gene region of the Clostridium tyrobutyricum isolate to be determined said oligonucleotides are used.
