abstract | The present invention refers to a method for identifying species of the Penaeoidea superfamily by means of DNA analysis, comprising: A. Extraction and isolation of DNA from a biological or food sample. B. The subsequent amplification by using primers of any isolated nucleotide sequence and its complement, of the DNA isolated in the previous step, characterized by being comprised between nucleotide sequences with at least 90% identity with SEQ ID No. 1 and SEQ ID No. 2. C. Digestion of the amplified nucleotide sequence by Alul, Taql or Hinfl restriction enzymes. D. Detection of the fragments obtained in the previous step. E. Identification of the species by comparison of the fragments detected in the previous step with the pattern of fragments characteristic of each species. |
