abstract New dimers of functionalized bile acids at position 24 of the alkyl chain of bile salt. Procedures for obtaining and applications. The new compounds result from the conjugation of 24-amino derivatives of natural bile acids, colic, deoxycholic, ursodeoxycholic, chenodeoxycholic and lithocolic acid with activated acidic compounds that act as a bridge between the two steroids. The bridges used are those derived from the compounds: N, N'-1,2-ethanediylbis [N (carboxymethyl), 1,1'-dimethyl ester] glycine; 1,4-dimethyl ester-1,2,4,5-benzene tetracarboxylic acid; 1,5-dimethyl ester-1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid; Y N, N-bis [2- (2,6-dioxo-4-morpholinyl) ethyl] glycine. The procedures used for the preparation of the above derivatives consist of reactions; (1) of the amino group of bile acid with an acid chloride; (2) of the amino group of bile acid with an acid activated with species such as DEPC or HOBt / DCC or DIC; and (3) of the amino group of bile acid with an anhydride. From the synthesized acids, the sodium and potassium salts are obtained.
