abstract | A microtiter plate comprising a plurality of wells of a rigid material selected from the group consisting of glass, polystyrene, polyacryl, polyamide, polyethylene, polypropylene, styrene acrylate-butadiene (ABS), Barnox, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) , nylon, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and combinations thereof, in which each well is a well of a regular microtiter plate, and in which each well is separated from an adjacent well by means of a dividing wall of wells, characterized in that the bottom of each well is composed of a semipermeable membrane filter capable of directly or indirectly linking an analyte, and in which said wells are grouped into one or more clusters, each cluster comprising at least two wells, in which said clusters are separated from adjacent clusters by means of a cluster dividing wall and in which at least part of the dividing wall of wells is lower than the cluster dividing wall, or in which the dividing wall of wells contains at least one passage that connects at least two adjacent wells within a cluster, said passage being at a distance from the bottom of the well and at least partially below the top of the well. |
