titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE FOR THE PREPARATION OF ESCOPINE ESTERES. |
abstract | Process for the preparation of compounds of the formula 1 (See formula) in which X- may mean chlorine, bromine, iodine, methanesulfonate or trifluoromethane sulfonate; R 1 may mean hydroxy, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, CF3 or fluoro; and Ar may mean a radical selected from the group consisting of phenyl, naphthyl, thienyl and furyl, which may be substituted once or twice with one or two radicals selected from the group consisting of C1-C4 alkyl, C1 alkoxy -C4, hydroxy, fluoro, chloro, bromo or CF3, characterized in that a compound of the formula 2 (See formula) in which Y- can mean chlorine, bromine, iodine, methanesulfonate or trifluoromethane-sulphonate, is reacted in one step with a compound of the formula 3 (See formula) in which R means a radical selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, methoxy, ethoxy, ON-succinimide, ON-phthalimide, phenyloxy, nitrophenyloxy, fluorophenyloxy, pentafluorophenyloxy, vinyloxy, 2 -alyloxy, -S-methyl, -S-ethyl and -S-phenyl, and the radicals R 1 and Ar can have one of the meanings mentioned above. |
