abstract |
A method for decorating a ceramic article comprising: providing an ink composition comprising a metallic soap; depositing micro-droplets of said ink composition on said ceramic article; and cooking said ceramic article in an oxidizing atmosphere to decompose said ink composition and form a colored oxide, characterized in that said ink composition is a viscous oil or a waxy solid at about 25 ° C; said ink composition is heated to reduce its viscosity to less than about 40 mPa * s (40 centipoise) and said ink composition lacks solvent. |
