titleOfInvention | DERIVATIVES OF INDOL AND USE OF THE SAME IN MEDICINES. |
abstract | Indole derivative represented by the general formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof: (See formula) in which R 1 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, cycloalkylalkyl of 4 to 7 carbon atoms, cycloalkenyl alkyl 5 to 7 carbon atoms, aryl of 6 to 12 carbon atoms, aralkyl of 7 to 13 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 3 to 7 carbon atoms, furan-2-yl-alkyl (in which the alkyl moiety has 1 to 5 carbon atoms) or thiophene-2-yl-alkyl (in which the alkyl fraction has 1 to 5 carbon atoms); R 2 is hydrogen, hydroxy, alkoxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or aliphatic alkyloxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms; R 3 is hydrogen, hydroxy, alkoxy of 2 to 5 carbon atoms, aliphatic acyloxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or aralkyloxy of 7 to 13 carbon atoms; -Z- is a crosslink having 2 to 5 carbon atoms; m is an integer from 0 to 3; n is an integer from 0 to 10; m number of R 4 groups and n number of R 5 groups are independently fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, nitro, alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, cyano, phenyl, isothiocyanate, SR 6, SOR 6, SO 2R 6, (CH 2) pOR 6, (CH 2) pCO 2R 6, SO 2NR 7 R 8, CONR 7 R 8, (CH 2) pNR 7 R 8 or (CH 2 ) pN (R 7) COR 8, (where p is an integer from 0 to 5; R 6 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and R 7 and R 8 are independently hydrogen, alkyl of 1 at 5 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of 4 to 7 carbon atoms), among the n numbers of R 5 groups above, two R 5 groups attached to the same carbon atom share in an oxygen atom to form an oxo group, or between the m numbers of R 4 groups and n numbers of R 5 groups, two adjacent R 4 groups, two adjacent R 5 groups, or an R 4 group and an R 5 group can be attached to each other to form a fused benzene ring pyridine cyclopentane, cyclohexane or cycloheptane, with the proviso that both m and n cannot be 0 simultaneously and, in addition, at least one of the R 4 and R 5 groups represents hydroxy, or two R 5 groups attached to the same carbon atom form an oxo group; R 9 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 2 to 5 carbon atoms, aralkyl of 7 to 13 carbon atoms, hydroxyalkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, (CH2) for 6 or (CH2) pCO2R 6, in which p and R 6 were defined above; and R 10 and R 11 are attached to each other to form -O-, -S- or -CH 2- or R 10 is hydrogen, while R 11 is hydrogen, hydroxy, alkoxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or aliphatic acyloxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms. |
