abstract |
Biodegradable aliphatic / aromatic copolyester (AAPE) comprising: A) an acid component comprising repeating units of: 1) 53 to 64 mol% of an aromatic carboxylic acid; 2) 47 to 36% of an aliphatic acid at least 50% of which is azelaic acid; B) a diol component selected from the group consisting of C3, C4 and C6 diols; said AAPE disintegrating according to ISO 20200 in 90 days and presenting: - a density lower than 1.22 g / cc - an average molecular weight in Mn number of 40,000-140,000 - an inherent viscosity of 0.8-1.5. - a modulus of elasticity greater than 100 MPa; - a polydispersity index determined by means of CPG between 1.8 and 2.5. |
