titleOfInvention MOLD AND MOLD COMPENSATOR ELEMENT.
abstract Forming mold (13) provided with a pedestal (14) that protrudes from the inner surface of the mold and is provided with a plurality of magnets (15) on its upper surface, and a mold compensating element (10) formed from material susceptible to magnetic attraction, the mold compensating element presenting: (a) a first side placed on the upper surface of the pedestal (14); (b) a second side, opposite said first side, adapted to receive a fixing strip (11) to be incorporated by molding, said fixing strip (11) containing elements susceptible to magnetic attraction, so that said mold compensating element (10) is sandwiched between said inner surface of said forming mold (13) and said fixing strip (11); and at least one positioning post (12) located on one edge of the mold compensating element or on the pedestal, said second side of the mold compensating element (10) providing a more uniform surface than said upper surface of the pedestal against which to seal said fixing strip (11) during the molding process and said mold compensating element (10) remains with the forming mold (13) after having removed a molded foam object from the forming mold (13).
