O / W emulsions that carry as emulsifier mixtures of (a) one or more surfactants A, chosen from the group of glucose derivatives and characterized by the structural formula (See formula) in which R 1 and R 2, independently of each other , represent a hydrogen atom or a branched or linear alkyl radical of 1 to 24 carbon atoms, (b) one or more surfactants B, chosen from the group of substances with the generic structural formula (See formula) where R3, R4 and R5 are independently selected from each other from the group that includes: H, fatty acid radicals of 8 to 24 carbon atoms, branched or linear, saturated or unsaturated, in which up to three aliphatic hydrogen atoms can be substituted by hydroxyl groups, and n represents a number from 2 to 8, as well as (c) an unsaturated lipophilic cosmetic active ingredient, with a log P value greater than 3.5, which is retinol. |
