titleOfInvention ATTRACTOR FOR FRUIT FLIES.
abstract Attractant for fruit flies.n n n The present invention relates to the use of compositions comprising an enzymatic hydrolyzate of porcine intestinal mucosa proteins, as an attractant for fruit flies of the Tephritidae family, especially for the Ceratitis capitata or Mediterranean fruit fly species. Preferably the enzymatic protein hydrolyzate has a degree of hydrolysis greater than 55% and the compositions also contain nucleic acids. The compositions used in the present invention may come from an enzymatic hydrolysis of porcine intestinal mucosa followed by a separation of heparin.
