titleOfInvention IMPROVED ELECTRODESIONIZATION SYSTEM.
abstract An electrodeionization system to eliminate liquid ions that are passed through it, comprising: a direct passage deionization module (10); an electrical power supply (12) that provides constant intensity or constant voltage, electrically connected to the electrodes (14, 16) of said electrodeionization module, in order to establish a voltage gradient between them; first means (18) for monitoring the value of a property of the liquid outflow from said electrodeionization module; and second means for establishing a range of predetermined target values for a property of said liquid outflow; and control means (20) that respond to said first surveillance means (18), and intended to activate and deactivate said power supply by impulses with a duty cycle proportional to the quality of the outlet water within the range in such a way that the power supply is active when the monitored property is below the margin, is deactivated when the monitored property is above the margin and is activated intermittently when the monitored property is within the range.
