abstract | Process for obtaining polyamides, their oligomers, or mixtures thereof, if appropriate with other reaction products, by reaction of aminonitriles or dinitriles and diamines, or a mixture, containing aminonitrile, dinitrile and diamine, and if appropriate other monomers and / or oligomers that form polyamide with water in a reactor (1) with a longitudinal axis oriented vertically, in which in the reactor (1) the reaction product of the tail is blocked, and the ammonia produced, and in case given other low molecular weight compounds produced and water, they are extracted through the head, characterized in that the reactor (1) contains - at least two chambers superimposed longitudinally (4), - the chambers (4) being separated from each other through liquid impervious plates (5), - each chamber (4) being connected with the chamber immediately below (4) through a liquid overflow (6), and being extracted through the liquid overflow (6) ofthe lower chamber (4) a stream of liquid product, - the gas space (7) being connected above the liquid level in each chamber (4) with the immediately superior chamber (4) in each case through one or more guide tubes (8), which ends (n) respectively in a gas distributor (9) with holes (11) for the exit of gases below the liquid level, as well as with at least one guide plate (12) arranged vertically around each gas distributor (9), whose lower end ends below the liquid level, and whose upper end ends above the liquid impermeable plate (5) of the chamber (4), and separates each chamber (4) in one or several gasified spaces (13) and in one or several non-gasified spaces (14). |
