Use of a polyoxypropylene-polyol with ethylene oxide (OE) distributed catalyzed with a two-metal cyanide (CDM) in the preparation of molded polyurethane foam or in sheets, said polyoxypropylene-polyol with distributed OE catalyzed with a CDM can be obtained by a process comprising: a) providing a mixture of an activated CDM catalyst / initiator to a reactor; b) polyoxyalkylate said initiator with a mixture of alkylene oxide containing propylene oxide and ethylene oxide such that the polyol contains from 1.5 percent by weight to less than 10 percent by weight of random oxyethylene moieties and the concentration of ethylene oxide during CDM catalyzed oxyalkylation is greater than zero for a minimum of 95% of the total oxyalkylation; c) recover a polyoxypropylene polyol with distributed OE. |
