The electrocatalyst isncomposed of a supported Pt-Ru metal phasenon a carbon black whose surface has been previously modified.nThe carbon black modification is carried out by treating it withndifferent oxidizing agents producing an increase in the number ofnsurface functional groups. Subsequently thenactive phase (platinum-ruthenium) to the surface ofnsupport that has been modified by any of the differentnmethods known in the state of the art. Electrocatalystnresulting improves electrocatalytic behavior fornoxidation of methanol with respect to other electrocatalystsnknown in the state of the art and whose carbonaceous support is notnhas tried to obtain superficial functional groups. |
