INHALATION DEVICE. |
abstract |
Dust inhaler for administering dust by inhalation, comprising: a flow path defined by a plurality of surfaces through which a stream of air is aspirated, in use, during inhalation by a user, and which includes a chamber ( 58) with an entrance and an exit; and dosing means (18) to provide a dose of dust to the flow path for entrainment in the air stream; characterized in that the inhaler further comprises evacuation means within the chamber adapted to make contact with a surface that defines at least a part of the chamber (58) and to dislodge accumulated dust on a surface of the flow path downstream of the means of dosage (18). |
