Precursors of drugs with antimalarial effect, characterized in that they are products capable of generating quaternary bis-ammonium salts and because they respond to the general formula (I) in which A and A are identical or different from each other and represent, respectively, a group A1 and A1 of formula where n is an integer from 2 to 4; R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1 to C5 alkyl radical, optionally substituted by an aryl radical (mainly a phenyl radical), hydroxy, alkoxy, in which the alkyl radical comprises 1 to 5 C, or aryloxy ( mainly phenoxy); and W represents a halogen atom chosen from chlorine, bromine or iodine, or a nucleophobic group, such as the tosyl radical CH3-C6H4-SO3, mesityl CH3-SO3, CF3-SO3, NO2C6H4-SO3. |
