titleOfInvention | SOLUTION FOR THE UNDEFINED MAINTENANCE OF NUCLEIC ACIDS IN ITS ORIGIN CELL. |
abstract | Solution for the indefinite maintenance ofnnucleic acids in your cell of origin.n n n The invention relates to a product whose characteristics make it possible to maintain a biological sample obtained from an individual under conditions such that the quality of the nucleic acids extracted subsequently is not affected, guaranteeing their integrity regardless of the time that elapses from obtaining the sample to nucleic acid extraction. To do this, a biological sample either solid (organ) or liquid (blood, semen, cell culture, etc.) of a eukaryotic or prokaryotic is mixed in a solution consisting of the mixture of EDTA (ethylen-diamine-tetraacetic acid) in its trisodium form of sodium fluoride (NaF) and saturation with Thymol (extracted from Thymus vulgaris L. ) to avoid contamination and bacterial growth and its adjustment to a pH equivalent to 8. This solution allows the collection of samples and their permanence at room temperature in it for an indefinite period for its subsequent extraction of nucleic acids and PCR, cloning, sequencing, hybridization or mutagenesis, with sufficient guarantees of integrity and reliability. |
