titleOfInvention MUSIC PARTS REPRODUCTION UNIT AND MUSIC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE ON A MOBILE PHONE.
abstract A unit (15) reproducer of musical pieces for use in a mobile phone (1) having a communication unit (13) to transmit a signal to a remote location and to receive a signal from the remote location, using the unit ( 15) player of musical pieces to reproduce a musical piece associated with the signal, and comprising: an interface (30) that receives several kinds of data from a RAM (11) of the system of said mobile phone (1) and that separates the data received, which contains score data, from the index data, which indicates what data is received; a FIFO temporary store (31) as a score data memory, said FIFO temporary store (31) being an internal memory that has a limited space for storing said score data, representing only a part of a piece of music to be played by part of said reproductive unit (15) of musical pieces, wherein said score data is read in said FIFO temporary store (31) sequentially of the part recorded in the first term and, when there is a certain amount of area available in the temporary store FIFO (31), the FIFO temporary store (31) sends an interrupt request signal; an index decoder (32) that decodes said index data and supplies a recording pulse to the FIFO temporary store (31); a tone generator (35) that is configured with a variable parameter, derived from the score data, to sequentially generate tones of the musical piece; a performance controller that sequentially extracts the score data from the score data memory (31) in order to configure the tone generator (35) with the variable parameter, according to the extracted score data; and a memory monitor that detects when a vacant area is created in the limited space of the score data memory (31) after sequential extraction of the score data, to operate the interface (30) in order to load another part of the score data in the vacant area, thereby allowing the tone generator (35) to continue generating the tones of the musical piece.
