Radial tire comprising: - a carcass layer (2) formed by at least one radial carcass ply arranged between a pair of heel elements (1); - a tread band (6) disposed on the outer side of the crown area of the carcass layer, in the radial direction of the tire, and which constitutes the ground contact part; - a belt layer formed by at least two belt canvases (3, 4), each formed by rubber-coated metal wires, and disposed between the tread and the crown area of the carcass layer; and - at least one reinforcing layer (7), which is formed by rubber-coated organic fibers, and a reinforcing layer, which is made of rubber or whose main component is rubber, the reinforcing layer being arranged between the band of tread and belt layer. |
