titleOfInvention PROCESS OF RECOVERY OF CHLORIDED ACID OF SOLD OUT OF METAL DECAPING THROUGH THE REPLACEMENT BY DISPLACEMENT WITH SULFURIC ACID PRODUCING IRON AND CINC SULFATES.
abstract Hydrochloric acid recovery process ofnExhausted metal pickling baths by replacement byndisplacement with sulfuric acid producing iron sulfates andnof zincn n n This process contemplates the addition to the exhausted bathnof sulfuric acid to obtain hydrochloric acid and, depending on thenbath to recover, ferric sulfate and, additionally, sulfatenzinc. By cooling the solution obtained, around thenzero degrees, precipitation is obtained by crystallization ofnFerrous sulfate heptahydrate and its extraction. In laternevaporation under vacuum the hydrochloric acid is recovered and bynsubsequent cooling of evaporator concentrate at temperaturenAmbient solidification of zinc sulfate with small partnof ferrous sulfate in mixed crystals. This process contemplates, noptionally, a previous phase for zinc separation bynthe addition of a solvent that captures zinc salts.
