Process for the preparation of alcohols, by means of multi-stage hydroformylation, catalyzed by cobalt or rhodium, of olefins with 6 to 24 carbon atoms, to obtain aldehydes, characterized in that olefins a) are hydroformylated in a hydroformylation step, up to reaction rate of 20 to 98%, b) the catalyst is removed from the liquid discharge from the reactor thus obtained, c) the hydroformylation liquid mixture thus obtained is separated into a fraction of low boiling compounds containing olefins and paraffins, and a settling tank fraction, containing aldehydes and / or alcohols, d) the olefins contained in the low boiling compound fraction are reacted at other stages of the process, comprising steps a), b) and c) and the fractions of the settling tank of the procedural steps c) of all stages of the procedure are collected. |
