The invention relates to a process for producing a drug agglomerate and a solid binder. The process involves producing individual agglomerate particles and then converting the amorphous convertible content thereof, after agglomeration, by the application of, for example, moisture. Also contemplated are the agglomerates that can be converted, as well as the final agglomerates and the oral and nasal dosing systems that include them. The process produces agglomerates that are rough but that produce a fraction of fine particles acceptable during dosing. |
