Method of manufacturing 1, 1, 1, 3, 3- pentafluoropropane and / or 1-chloro-3, 3, 3-trifluoropropene by fluorination in a reaction system of one or more starting materials selected from 1, 1, 1 , 3, 3- pentachloropropane, 1, 1, 3, 3-tetrachloropropene and 1, 3, 3, 3- tetrachloropropene with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a catalyst, characterized by the use of subject materials and dehydrated hydrogen fluoride subjected to the reaction system, in which the water contained in said starting materials is controlled at no more than 20 ppm and the water contained in said hydrogen fluoride is controlled at no more than 10 ppm. |
