A NEW POLYESTER IS SUPPLIED THAT UNDERSTANDS THE PRODUCT OF THE REACTION OF: 1) A FUNCTIONAL POLYESTER OF ACID PREPARED FROM: A) A DIHYDROXYCARBOXYLIC ACID OF THE STRUCTURE (I), WHERE X IS A LOWER RENTAL GROUP THAT HAVE BETWEEN 1 AND 4 CARBON ATOMS, YRY R '' ARE INDEPENDENTLY LOWER RENTAL GROUPS THAT HAVE BETWEEN 1 AND 4 CARBON ATOMS; B) A POLYOL DIFFERENT FROM A); AND C) A POLIACIDE; AND 2) A MONOEPOXIDE CONTAINING BETWEEN 3 AND 20 CARBON ATOMS. THE REACTION PRODUCT IS CARBAMOILED. THE CARBAMOILED POLYESTER MAY BE PRESENT IN A COMPOSITION FOR THE FORMATION OF FILMS THAT ALSO HAS A FUNCTIONAL CARBAMATE ACRYLIC POLYMER AND AN AMINOPLAST TYPE BINDING AGENT. THE COMPOSITION FOR FILM FORMATION MAY ALSO CONSTITUTE A TRANSPARENT COATING IN A COMPOSITE COATING COMPOSITION OF VARIOUS COMPONENTS. |
