abstract | Procedure and equipment for processing innbrea of mesophase pitch.n n n A method for the production of form is presentedncontinuous of mesophase pitch from various derivatives ofnoil or coal, which may have variable contents ofnMesophase of 60 to 100%. The production system is simple andneconomic, consisting of a single body reactor with two zonesnof differentiated temperature. A high temperature zone wherenproduces pyrolysis of the organic precursor forming thenmesophase, and a second low temperature zone where the mesophasensedimentation and coalesce formed the mesophase pitch. The transferencenfrom the mesophase of zone 1 to zone 2 occurs spontaneously.nZone 2 has a device for removing the pitch fromnmesophase, while zone 1 has a device for the contribution ofn raw material necessary to maintain the balance of matter in theninside the reactor. |
