CATETER FOR THE REPRESENTATION OF PICTURES BY ULTRASOUND. |
abstract |
A MEDICAL GUIDE WIRE (28) THAT SERIES GUIDE WIRE TO OBTAIN PICTURES BY ULTRASOUNDS INCLUDES A MEANS (23) FOR SIDE ACOUSTIC SCANNING. THE GUIDE WIRE INCLUDES A MAIN PART OF THE GUIDE WIRE BODY, EXTENDED, AND A FLEXIBLE PART OF POINT (26). THE MAIN PART OF THE BODY INCLUDES AN EXTERNAL WALL, WHICH INCLUDES MEANS ABLE TO TRANSMIT A SPINNING TORQUE. INSIDE THE EXTERNAL WALL IS A LONG AXLE (1) THAT ROTATES IN RELATION TO THE EXTERNAL WALL. ON THE AXIS (1) AN ACOUSTIC IMAGE TRANSDUCER (23) IS MOUNTED, PLACED DISTALLY. THE OUTER WALL INCLUDES A HELICID SERPENTIN OF MULTIPLE THREADS (110) THAT TRANSMITS THE TORSION. A DISTAL PART OF THE SERPENTIN EXTENDS ON THE AREA (31) OCCUPIED BY THE ROTATING TRANSDUCER. THE SERPENTIN FILAMENTS (110) ARE IN THIS SUBSTANTIALLY SEPARATE AREA, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A SUBSTANTIALLY SONOLUCENT WINDOW (31) FOR THE TRANSDUCER. THE END OF THE SERPENTIN FILAMENTS (150) SITUATED DIFFERENTLY FROM THE TRANSDUCER ARE INSURED TO TRANSMIT THE SPINNING TORQUE TO THE PART OF THE ELASTIC POINT. |
