| abstract | Absorbent article (10), which has a zone (12) of the front waist band, a zone (14) of the rear waist band and an intermediate zone (16) that interconnects said front and rear areas of the waist band , said article having a longitudinal axis (26) and a transverse axis (24), and comprising: a posterior laminar layer (30); an absorbent retaining portion (48) superimposed on said posterior sheet layer (30); a liquid permeable upper layer (28) superimposed on said retention part (48) and connected so that said retention part (48) intercalates between said upper (28) and rear (30) laminar layers; at least one elasticized side panel (58) connected to the lateral end zone (40) of said rear zone (14) of the waistband of said article, said lateral panel (58) being constructed so that it is interconnected with said article around the body of the user thus forming an assembled bridge fin (180), said assembled bridge fin (180) being arranged to provide a surface of the body side for contact with the user; fastening means (36) for fixing said front area (12) of the waistband of the article to said rear area (14) of the waistband of the article to thereby surround the user with said areas of the band item waist; characterized by additionally comprising means for coupling the edge of the waist band (112, 104) provided with at least one side panel (58) elasticized to fix the edge of the waist band of the bridge fin (180) assembled to the front area (12) of the waistband of the article. |
