abstract | A process for preparing an optically active derivative of the (-) - pyridobenzoxazine carboxylic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, comprising the operations of: i) reacting a compound with a reactive material in the presence of a base to obtain another compound , ii) converting the compound, obtained in operation i), into a polar organic solvent and in the presence of a base to obtain another compound, iii) reacting the compound, obtained in operation ii), with piperazine or piperazine N- monosubstituted in a polar organic solvent and in the presence of a base to obtain another compound, and iv) hydrolyzing and cycling the compound, obtained in said operation iii), in an organic solvent and in the presence of a metal hydroxide to obtain another compound. |
