titleOfInvention PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING CELLS FROM GREEN ALGAE MURIELLOPSIS RICH IN LUTEINA, BY MEANS OF CULTURE IN OUTDOOR PONDS.
abstract Procedure for obtaining green algae cells Muriellopsis rich in lutein, by growing in outdoor ponds.n n n The object of the present invention is a process for obtaining biomass of the lutein-rich Muriellopsis microalgae by means of outdoor cultivation in an open pond system with agitation. Through the process of the invention, high productivity values are achieved, both for biomass and for lutein carotenoid. This system allows the expansion of the cultivation process to greater extensions, consequently allowing high amounts of lutein-rich biomass to be obtained, maintaining the composition and quality of the product.
