abstract Receiver of radiocommunication signals of the CDMA type, said signals having been obtained from spread spectrum symbols by means of pseudorandom sequences, said signals then being propagated in a plurality of paths, including this receiver: - means (120, ...,, ..., 12L-1) to restore, for each symbol, L widened signals, corresponding to L different paths, - means (140, ...,, ..., 14L-1) to calculate L estimates of the L paths, - demodulation means (160, ...,, ..., 16L-1) to process each of the L signals widened by the corresponding L estimates to obtain the contributions of the L paths, - an adder (18 ) to calculate the sum of said L contributions and provide an estimate of the symbol received, - a decision circuit (20) with respect to the symbol received from the value of the estimate provided by the adder, said receiver being characterized in that: a) it processes packages of N symbols, each package including data symbols and control symbols, each symbol being identified by the range k it occupies in the package, with k between 0 and N-1, b) for each path, identified by a index, being between 0 and L-1, and for each packet, the receiver considers a vector of N components that characterizes the path during said packet, c) the receiver includes the means (30) for defining a base of vectors Bk, said vectors being the N own vectors of the matrix, each vector being decomposed on this base, constituting the coefficients of the decomposition, called, independent Gaussian random variables, d) the coefficients define in each path a vector with N components, being able the means of estimating each vector through an iterative process based on an estimation-maximization algorithm (MS) based on a criterion of maximum probability a posteriori.
