THE SUPPORT TUBE (20) IS SUBJECT TO THE FLOATING STRUCTURE (10) IN DIFFERENT POINTS (AD) THROUGH THE LENGTH OF THE SUPPORT TUBE (20) AND IN THIS FORM IT IS FLEXED AROUND ITS JOINING POINTS WITH THE STRUCTURE FLOATING (10). THIS MINIMIZES THE TENSIONS ON THE CATENARY ELEVATOR (16).
