abstract Catalyst for the polymerization of styrene and dienes, preparation procedure and use. It is a catalyst for the polymerization of 1,4-dienes, of styrene, and for the copolymerization of both monomers. It presents as characteristics a high degree of stereoselectivity, catalytic activity and tolerance to the presence of polar impurities. This catalyst combines the characteristics of Ni-based diene polymerization catalysts (high stereoselectivity and catalytic activity) with its well-defined character and its tolerance to the presence of polar substances. Its preparation is also simple, facilitating its use in practice.
