THE ARTICLE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY INCLUDES, AS A FIRST PIECE, A TRANSFER EDGE ELEMENT (24) THAT HAS A BASE (28) SITUATED ON A SUPPORT FRAME (39) AND SUSTAINED BY THE SAME, AND A PART THAT DOES STOP WITH THE BAND (32) THAT EXTENDS FROM THE BASE TO MAKE A FIRST STOP WITH THE CONVEYOR SURFACE OF A CONVEYOR BAND (60) AS IT PASSES AROUND A DENTED WHEEL (64). THE PART THAT DOES BUMPER WITH THE BAND CAN HAVE NAILS (34) OR A BEVELED STRAIGHT EDGE, FOR EXAMPLE. THE ELEMENT OF THE TRANSFER EDGE (26) HOUSE WITH A SECOND PIECE, A TRANSFER PLATE THAT HAS AN EMBEDDED PART (40) THAT IS FLUSHED AND HOUSES WITH THE BASE PART OF THE TRANSFER EDGE ELEMENT AND A PLATE WITH TOP FLAT (42) TO TRANSFER ARTICLES CONTINUOUSLY AND COPLANATE WITH A SUPERIOR SURFACE (38) OF THE ELEMENT OF THE TRANSFER EDGE TO FORM A PROLONGATION OF THE TRANSPORT SURFACE OF THE BAND THROUGH WHICH THE ARTICLES ARE TRANSPORTED. IN PREFERRED VERSIONS, THE TWO PIECES CAN BE MANUFACTURED FROM DIFFERENT MATERIALS, SUCH AS A DURABLE MATERIAL FOR THE TRANSFER EDGE AND A LOW FRICTION MATERIAL FOR THE TRANSFER PLATE. OTHER COMBINATIONS OF MATERIALS MAY BE USED TO ADAPT THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SECTIONED TRANSFER SET TO DIFFERENT OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS.
