Distribution pipeline network systems are provided for the transportation of pressurized liquefied natural gas at a pressure from approximately 1035 kPa (150 psia) to approximately 7590 kPa (1100 psia) and at a temperature from approximately -123ºC (-190ºF) to approximately - 62 ° C (-80 ° F). The tubes and other components of the distribution pipe network systems are constructed of a low-alloy, ultra-high-strength steel containing less than 9% by weight of nickel and having a tensile strength greater than 830 MPa ( 120 ksi) and a DBTT of less than about -73 ° C (-100 ° F). |
