titleOfInvention | A PROCEDURE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF OXALATE (1R, 2R-CYCLHEXANODIAMINE) -PLATINO (II). |
abstract | A process for the manufacture of (1R, 2R-cyclohexanediamine) -platinum (II) oxalate which consists in proceeding according to the following steps. a- Treat an aqueous solution of a neutral salt of high optical purity of (1R, 2R) -cyclohexanediamine, b- The aqueous solution resulting from step "a" is mixed with an aqueous solution of potassium tetraiodoplatinite (I {sub, 4} PtK {sub, 2}), obtaining (1R, 2R) -cyclohexanedianediiodoplatin (II) (compound D) that precipitates and is filtered off. c- Compound D is suspended in pyrogenic distilled water and treated with an aqueous solution of silver nitrate obtained using distilled distilled water, heating and stirring for the entire time necessary to transform the entire iodine of compound D into silver iodide. The resulting mixture is cooled and filtered. d- To the aqueous solution of nitrate of (1R, 2R) -cyclohexanodiamindiacuoplatin (II) is added, an excess of aqueous solution of potassium oxalate, crystallizing the final product, oxalate (1R, 2R-cyclohexanediamine) platinum (II), e- Separate the (1R, 2R-cyclohexanediamine) platinum (II) oxalate crystallized in step (d). The product manufactured by the process of the present invention has an oncological therapeutic application and is especially suitable for the treatment of solid blastomas such as that of colon. |
