THE INVENTION REFERS TO A THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERIC COMPOSITION THAT INCLUDES A RAMIFIED OLEFINIC COPOLYMER, DERIVED FROM OLEFINICALLY INSATURED MONOMERS, SUSCEPTIBLE OF INSERTION THROUGH POLYMERIZATION, WHICH HAVE A) A G OR, BY MEASURE BY MEASURE; B) A T SUB, M HIGHER THAN 80 C; C) AN ELONGATION OF RUPTURE HIGHER OR EQUAL TO 300%; D) A RESISTANCE TO TRACTION HIGHER OR EQUAL TO 1,500 PSI (10,300 KPA); AND E) AN ELASTIC RECOVERY HIGHER OR EQUAL TO 50%. THE INVENTION REFERS TO A PROCEDURE FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE COMPOSITION OF THE INVENTION, WHICH CONSISTS OF: THAT HAS MORE THAN 40% OF INSATURATIONS OF TERMINAL CHAIN GROUPS; B) COPOLYMERIZE THE PRODUCT OF A) WITH ETHYLENE AND ONE OR MORE COMMONOMERS, TO PREPARE SUCH RAMIFIED OLEFINIC COPOLYMER. THE COMPOSITIONS OF THE RAMIFIED OLEFIN COPOLYMER OF THE INVENTION ARE SUITABLE AS SUBSTITUTES FOR COMPOSITIONS OF STYRENE BLOCK COPOLYMER, AND IN OTHER TRADITIONAL APPLICATIONS OF THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMEROS. |
