abstract The present invention provides a novel crystalline bisulfate salt of the HIV protease inhibitor azapeptide of formula ** (Formula) ** showing unexpected solubility / dissolution in water superior to those of other salts, and which better or significantly oral bioavailability in animals compared to the free base. The bisulfate salt is therefore useful in pharmaceutical forms of the aforementioned protease inhibitor, in particular in oral pharmaceutical forms.
