Promoters of the glutamate dehydrogenase, {b -N-acetylhexosaminidase and {and -actin genes and their use in systems of expression, secretion and antisense of filamentous fungi. The use of promoters of genes encoding: (I) NADP-dependent glutamate dehydrogenase (EC.1.4.1.4) of Penicillium chrysogenum, (II) {b -N-acetylhexose-minidase (EC.3.2.1.52) of Penicillium chrysogenum and (III) {and -actin from Penicillium chrysogenum and Acremonium chrysogenum, which can be used for the construction of powerful expression and secretion vectors useful for both P. chrysogenum and A. chrysogenum and related species. Also, these promoters can be used to block gene expression by antisense constructs. Under the control of the aforementioned promoters, the expression of other genes in filamentous fungi can be directed, increasing the production of antibiotics and / or proteins inherent in them. |
