Percarboxylic acid washing method including the steps of washing the material in an automatic washing machine and rinsing of the material both at low and high temperatures with a rinsing compound with a sanitary effect. The concentrated, non-decorating cleaning compound preferably includes peroxyacetic acid, acetic acid, and hydrogen peroxide, with the levels of acetic and peroxyacetic acids being higher and the level of hydrogen peroxide lower. The disinfecting cleaning compound can preferably be used at a peroxyacetic acid concentration of at least 30 ppm. |
