THE AQUEOUS DISSOLUTION IS FREE OF CHROME AND IS POSSIBLE TO SPILL AFTER THE CORRECTION OF THE PH, IF NECESSARY. CHROME IS REMOVED FROM THE ORGANIC PHASE THROUGH AN ALKALINE DISSOLUTION, PRODUCING A REGENERATED ORGANIC PHASE AND A WATER SUSPENSION OF CHROME (III) HYDROXIDE. THE REGENERATED ORGANIC PHASE IS RECIRCULATED AT THE HEAD OF PROCESS. FROM THE AQUEOUS SUSPENSION A CHROME (III) HYDROXIDE SLUDGE IS OBTAINED BY FILTRATION. ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATION IN THE FIELD OF DEPURATION OF INDUSTRIAL EFFLUENTS CONTAMINATED WITH CHROME.
