THE PRESENT INVENTION REFERS TO A PROCESS OF PREPARATION OF A CYCLIC KETONE, AND MORE PARTICULARLY OF CYCLOPENTANONE AND DIMETHYL-2,2 CYCLOPENTANONE FROM THE CORRESPONDING DICARBOXYLIC ACID, BY DECARBOXYLATION AND CYCLIZATION. THE PREPARATION PROCESS OF THE INVENTION IS CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT THE REACTION IS TAKEN IN THE LIQUID PHASE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN EFFECTIVE AMOUNT OF A METAL OR DERIVED FROM THE ELEMENTS CHOSEN BETWEEN: BORON, ALUMINUM, GALIUM, INDIUM, THE THALLIUM, THE TIN, THE ANTIMONY, THE BISMUTE, THE MOLYBDENUM, THE RUBIDIUM, THE CESIUM, THE VANADIUM. |
