abstract |
THE INVENTION IS RELATED TO A LAMPSCOPIC INSTRUMENT FOR TIEING HOLLOW VESSELS AND TO APPLY ENDOLIGATURES IN THE ABDOMINAL CAVITY. THE INSTRUMENT HAS A TUBE (4) THAT CAN BE INTRODUCED THROUGH A TROCAR CANNULA INSIDE THE ABDOMINAL CAVITY. INSIDE THE TUBE (4) IS AN ELEMENT IN THE FORM OF A SPIRAL SPRING (8) WHICH IS KEPT IN A DEVELOPED STATE AND MAY SLIDE OUT OF THE FRONT END OF THE TUBE BY MEANS OF A SLIDING MECHANISM (6). THE SPIRAL SPRING IS DIMENSIONED IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT FORMS A SPIRAL IN A FREE CHARGE STATE. AT THE FRONT END OF THE SPRING ELEMENT, A LIGATURE STRIP MAY BE ATTACHED, WHICH IS PASSIVELY SUPPORTED THROUGH THE SPIRAL SPRING DURING THE SLIP OUTWARD OF THIS LAST, AND THEREFORE LINKS A STRUCTURE. THE FRONT END OF THE DEVICE TO PERFORM THE LIGATURES (10) MAY BE GRIPPED BY MEANS OF A GRIPPING TOOL (16) AND MAY BE MOVED BACKWARD TO THE INSIDE OF THE TUBE TO MAKE ANY CLOSING OF IT. IN A PARTICULAR CONFORMATION THE SPIRAL SPRING IS PRODUCED FROM A BAND OF SUPERELASTIC MATERIAL, SUCH AS A NICKEL-TITANIUM ALLOY. |
