NEW DERIVATIVES OF THE PIRACINA HAVE THE FORMULA I IN WHICH: R IS A HYDROGEN ATOM OR A LOWER RENTAL GROUP; R1 IS A LOWER ALCOXIDE GROUP, A LOWER RENT GROUP OR A HYDROXIDE GROUP; R3 IS A LOWER RENT GROUP, A FENILE GROUP, A LOWER FENIL-ALKY GROUP, A LOWER ALKENYL GROUP OR A LOWER INDOLY-RENTAL GROUP; R2 IS A LOWER FENYLALKYL GROUP THAT MAY HAVE, ON THE PHENYL RING, BETWEEN 1 AND 3 SELECTED SUBSTITUTES BETWEEN THE GROUP THAT CONSISTS OF A LOWER ALKOXIDE GROUP, A LOWER FENYLALCOXIDE GROUP; A GROUP OF THE FOLLOWING FORMULA IN WHICH R4 AND R5 HAVE THE MEANINGS GIVEN IN THE DESCRIPTION. IN THE SAME WAY PROCESSES ARE PRESENTED TO PREPARE THE DERIVATIVES OF PIRACINA.
