THE INVENTION REFERS TO A PROCESS AND A DEVICE TO GENERATE HEAT, WITH REDUCED EMISSION OF SULFUR OXIDES AND NITROGEN. A COMBUSTION (1) OF A FUEL CONTAINING SULFUR AND NITROGEN IS CARRIED OUT, THE COMBUSTION EFFLUENTS AND PARTICLES OF A FRESH ABSORBENT ARE INTRODUCED IN A ZONE OF TURBULENCE (9) ABOVE AN ADIABATIC DESULFURATION ZONE (8) THE MIXTURE PRODUCED IN A HEAT RECOVERY AREA (16). A PART OF THE ABSORBENT IS RECYCLED IN THE DESULFURATION ZONE AND THE AMOUNT OF FRESH ABSORBENT AND RECYCLED ABSORBENT IS ADDED SO THAT THE TEMPERATURE OF THIS AREA IS 750 TO 1000 C. |
