PERFECTED BIOCIDAL COMPOUNDS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING MICROORGANISM POPULATION LEVELS IN WATER RECIRCULATION SYSTEMS, SUCH AS, REFRIGERATION TOWERS, SWIMMING POOLS, ETC. THE COMPOUND INCLUDES ONE DONOR OF HYPOCHLORITE AND ANOTHER OF BROMIDE IONS IN PROPORTIONS SELECTED TO MAINTAIN A MOLECULAR PROPORTION OF THE SUM OF ALL THE SPECIES CONTAINING BROMINE AND OF THE SUM OF ALL HYPOHALITES SPECIES IN THE RECIRCULED WATER RECIRCULATION 20. THE METHOD INCLUDES THE INTRODUCTION WITHIN THE WATER OF RECIRCULATION, OF A MIXTURE OR COMBINATION OF A DONOR OF HYPOCHLORITE AND OTHER OF BROMIDE ION IN ENOUGH AMOUNTS TO MAINTAIN A PROPORTION OF THE SUM OF ALL THE SPECIES CONTAINING BIN AND SUM OF ALL SPECIES IN RECIRCULATION WATER IN THE AROUND RANGE OF 2.0 TO 20. IN ADDITION, A VOLATILE SUPPRESSOR OF BROMINE MAY BE INTRODUCED IN RECIRCULATION WATER TO PREVENT THE LOSS OF BROMIDE ION BY VOLATIZING SPECIES THEY CONTAIN BROMINE, FORMED BY THE REACTION OF THE DONOR OF HYPOCHLORITE AND THE DONOR OF THE ION OF BROMIDE. YOU CAN ALSO ADD ONE OR MORE SCALE SUPPRESSORS AND COMPACT AIDS. |
