NITROBENCIL CHLORIDES (II) CAN BE OBTAINED BY CHLORINATION OF THE CORRESPONDENTS DERIVED FROM NITROTOLUENE (IV), SO THESE THESE COMPOUNDS (IV) CAN BE USED IN THE SYNTHESIS OF COMPOUNDS (I).
