titleOfInvention PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING WATER-SOLUBLE CONDENSATION PRODUCTS, INTENDED FOR TEXTILE TREATMENT
abstract Process for obtaining water-soluble condensation products intended for the treatment of textiles, especially cellulose fibers, characterized in that a di- or polycarbonic acid amide such as. urea melamine. oxamide or another amide of the same type in alkaline medium with an amount of glyoxal such that it does not fix more than a part that preferably does not exceed 50% of the reactive nitrogen of the amide and then to condense the product thus obtained in alkaline medium a quantity of formaldehyde large enough to fix the remaining reactive nitrogen.
